Operation Timothy
​
Our goal through Operation Timothy is to fill our volunteers so full of Jesus that when summer camp comes, they are just overflowing with His love and Jesus' light is shining brightly through them.
Geared mainly toward ages 13-18, this program will benefit any Christian wishing to dig deeper into what the Bible says about discipleship.
DISCIPLESHIP
BIBLE LESSON

We will examine what the Bible says about Paul's relationship with Timothy by studying 1 and 2 Timothy
SERVICE PROJECTS
This is where we take the time to give back to the community. We are learning to show God's love through our actions and service.
You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
2 Timothy 2:1-2
As a Christian you need 3 types of people in your life:
*A Paul (someone you are learning the Gospel from)
*A Barnabas (someone working by your side in the ministry)
*A Timothy (someone acquiring discipleship knowledge from you that will enable them to someday take your place)
LEADERSHIP
We will learn what it means to be an effective leader in a camp setting. We will see what the Bible says about the Body of Christ and its many members working together.
APPLICATION
What does all this have to do with working at camp? Here we will combine everything we learn from the Bible about discipleship and everything we learn about leadership and apply it to our work at GBC.
FUN
The friendships made at Galilee Bible Camp can become some of the richest blessings God gives us. Our hope is to see lasting Godly friendships flourish all year long.
